Cassidy was sitting on the floor in her room with books spread about her.
There was cup of tea and a pot that was sitting close by, but the pot had cooled and not much had been taken from the cup she had poured hours ago. She had been in her room all day looking through her books and journals trying to find something -- anything -- that might be able to help with what was going on right now.
Part of her mind had treacherously told her that if there were anything to be found in her store of knowledge, than Karla or Shira would have already found it by now, The other parts of her mind ignored that in the drive to do something to keep anyone else from losing people they loved.
Her own loss was still a a battle with grief, but the fact that Shira and Elle had also lost loved ones drove her even more to search and study. They were her Court and she was responsible for looking after them and keeping things like this from happening. Logic was not really strong with this witchling right now.
Her door was partially open, but you'd have to speak to her directly -- maybe forcefully -- to get through her concentration.
[[OOC: Door and post open. Come break through her single-mindedness.]]
